Lakeshore Wellness and Recovery
Therapist: Jennifer Laubenstein, MS, LPC-IT, CSAC
I help individuals embrace life problems by looking at them from a fresh perspective and empower them to make choices that will help them achieve what they want out of life. I have been helping individuals overcome addiction, personal obstacles and life challenges since 2011 by using evidence-based interventions and empowering individuals to improve their lives and relationships.
I have a masters degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University, a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice from Walden University and an associate degree in Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counseling from Moraine Park Technical College. I have worked extensively in Medication Assisted Treatment (methadone, Suboxone®, Vivitrol®) and with clients who have experienced significant trauma.
I work with individuals one-on-one by personalizing my approach based on my client’s needs and what will work for them based on their current situations and challenges. I facilitate our evening Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for addictions at our West Bend location using the Open to Change Curriculum, incorporating realistic problem solving and solution focused techniques and collaborating with the client’s treatment team for the best outcome. I also lead our Trauma Group for women at our West Bend location using the S.E.L.F Trauma-Informed Psychoeducational Curriculum and integrating mindfulness, music and art to heal the heart and quiet the residual effects of trauma.
If you aren’t getting what you want in your life…I can help you make the changes necessary to fulfill your goals and live the life you want.
